Jim Elser’s questions

Pro & Backyard should not be judged by the same table.  Sometimes, it cannot be avoided.

Wendy Wolfe said that the scoring system was set up so that hopefully we could track the judges so that the tables could be as balanced as possible.  No matter how much a lead rep communicates to the organizer, sometimes organizers pick judges themselves.  Teams show up that were not expected.  and judges are needed…or judges who were not confirmed show up.  Each cook team will receive the best judging possible.

We also have a problem in FBA of High Scores.

Does the Team receive TOTY receive Team of the Year points.  or could a team name a 2nd head cook?  Team has to have a name and has to have a head cook.  Team that will be cooking two FBA contests on the same weekend and get double TOTY points.

Lori Frazee made a motion that we allow a cook team to name another FBA dues paying member as lead cook but if that team is cooking at two contests on the same weekend, only TOTY points for one contest and must be determined in advance.  Jim Elser 2nd
